These terms cover every purchase made from Black Scar Studio. Completing an order means you accept them.

What you are buying

A licence to use the plugin or template in your own projects, including commercial ones. One purchase covers you as a single developer or studio, across as many of your own games as you like.

What you may do

  • Use the product in commercial and non-commercial games you develop.
  • Modify the product to fit your project.
  • Ship the compiled result as part of your game.

What you may not do

  • Resell, redistribute or share the product itself, modified or not.
  • Publish the source to a public repository or any asset marketplace.
  • Share your download links or account access with anyone else.

Delivery

All products are digital downloads, delivered as soon as payment clears. There is nothing to ship. Your downloads remain available from your account.

Updates

Updates to a product you own are free. Log in to your account to download the current version at any time.

Refunds

Because products are delivered instantly and in full, we do not operate a self-serve refund button. Refund requests are handled individually through support.

We will consider a refund within 14 days of purchase where:

  • the product does not function as its documentation describes, and we cannot resolve it with you;
  • the product is materially different from what its store page described;
  • you were charged more than once for the same order.

We will not normally refund where the product works as documented and you have changed your mind, where you bought the wrong item and have already downloaded it, or where the request is made long after purchase with no prior contact.

To raise a refund request, contact support with your order number and what went wrong. Statutory rights that apply to you in your own country are not affected by this clause.

Support

Support runs through our Discord: https://discord.gg/cq464nBPRE. You get help from the developer who built the product.

Liability

Products are provided as they are. We work hard to keep them stable and we document their limitations honestly, but we cannot be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from their use.
